Albert E. May, 81, a resident of Summit, MS, passed away on June 2, 2022, at his residence.

A graveside service will be held Saturday at 11 AM June 4, 2022 at Middleton Creek Primitive Baptist church cemetery in Meadville, MS. Rev. Jamie Matthews will officiate. Hartman-Jones Funeral Home of McComb will be in charge of arrangements.

Albert was born on December 29, 1940 in Amite County, MS. He was the son of the late Claiborn and Lillian Alford May.

Albert was a retired electrician and was the owner and operator of May's Electric Company in McComb and was also part of May's mini-mart. He was of the Baptist faith and served in the National Guard. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grand and great-grandfather. He was an outdoors man who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed woodworking, had a great sense of humor and loved his dogs, especially Sweet Pea and Tinkerbell. He will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, his first wife Nancy Anderson May and second wife Carolyn Barron May; one son James "Jimbo" May, one daughter Suzy May, two brothers and one sister.

He is survived by one grandchild Dalton May, two great-grandchildren with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
