Mrs. Amanda Alford, 74, of Tylertown passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at the Merit River Oaks in Jackson, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 25, 2022 at Silver Creek Baptist Church from 5 till 8 P.M. and on Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 9 A.M. till service time at 10 A.M..  The Reverend Scott Kennedy will officiate.  Burial will follow in the Silver Creek Cemetery.

Mrs. Alford was born August 13, 1947 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was the daughter of the late James Frank and Dorothy Brumfield Woodward.

She was a homemaker and loved interior decorating.  She was a member of Silver Creek Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William D. Alford; one daughter, Amy Lynn Alford; and two brothers, Jimmy Woodward and Michael Woodward.

She is survived by two daughters, Ruby Gomez and Janie Delancey both of Tylertown; One grandson, Buddy Delancey and wife, Emily.

Pallbearers will be James Hall, Bubba Meyers, Chance Johnson, Jerry Delancey, Frankie Delancey, and Michael Brumfield.

Honorary pallbearer will be Wayne "Pete" Smith.
