Andre' Joseph "Jay" Bayhi II, 61, of Osyka, MS, passed away on August 20, 2025, in Liberty, MS.

Service will be at Gillsburg Baptist Church 6126 MS Highway 568 Osyka, MS. Saturday November 30, 2025 at
10:30 AM.

Andre' was born on December 24, 1963, in New Orleans to the late Andre' Joseph and Barbara Lawson Bayhi.

Jay was a member of Tower Hill Family Worship Church in Liberty. He was a wonderful and loving brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, whose wisdom and advice will surely be missed. He could fix just about anything from lawn mowers to cars and was known to cook meals for friends and family that were filled with love and creativity. He adored animals, especially the dogs and cats who shared their lives with him over the years, and he now has reunited with his favorite pit bull Bubba, one of the smartest of them all. He loved the outdoors and particularly enjoyed bird watching, developing an ability to identify birds by their song or call.

He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and his loving canine companion Bubba.

He is survived by his three sisters, Melanie B. Webre, Lisa C. Bayhi, and Gabrielle S. Bayhi; his nieces and nephews, Christina M. Aguiluz, Jennifer W. Lemmon, Eric P. Weber, and R. Neill Aguiluz II and by numerous loving cousins, especially Mark Lawson who was like a brother, other family, and dear friends.
