Dorothy "Annette" Stanford, 67, of McComb, MS passed away June 1, 2024 at her residence.  A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024 at Faith Adventist Church in Summit, MS from 4 PM until 7:30 PM.

Annette was born in New Orleans, LA on December 8, 1956 to Houston I. Pouns and Lillie Hart Pouns. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Summit.  She was a wonderful helper to all people, and enjoyed making people smile.  She enjoyed garage shopping and believed everything that glittered was gold.  She brought life to the party and looked forward to family gatherings.  She was a giver and will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandparents JW Hart and Grandmother Prude, and her step father Horace Dickerson.

She is survived by her husband David Michael Stanford of McComb, her son Patrick Morris (Robin) of Magnolia, grandchildren Samantha Morris, Pheonix Thomas, and Josie Morgan, a brother Donald (Marissa) Pouns and a sister Mary Ellen (Bruce) Forshee, a niece Victoria Forshee McNair, a nephew Jonathan McKenzie, along with other relatives and friends.
