Anthony C "Tony" Hanberry, 63, a resident of McComb, MS, passed away peacefully, on December 17 2023 at his residence.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at Hartman Jones Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and will continue on Wednesday December 20, 2023 from 9:00 AM until services at 11:00 AM at West McComb Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Liberty.  Bro. Vann Windom will officiate.  Hartman Jones Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.

Tony was born on April 13, 1960 in Natchez, MS to Fred Charles Hanberry and Marjorie Stokes Alcorn. Tony was a member of West McComb Baptist Church.  He worked for 30 years as a floor installer and salesman with Covington Hardware.  He had many talents some of which included, artistry, playing the guitar, song writing and crafting walking sticks. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Sherrill Hanberry, his stepson Richard G. Campbell and a great granddaughter Ava Grace Bates.

He is survived by his Fiance' Lisa Brown of McComb, step father Al Alcorn of Liberty, step sons Jarrett Etheridge of McComb, Joshua Brown of McComb, step daughters Cathy Howard (Danny) of Ponchatoula, LA, Veronica Bates (Melvin) of Ruth, MS, and Amanda Campbell (Dawayne Cash) of Pricedale, MS, brothers Timothy Hanberry (Jo) of Raymond, MS and Fred Hanberry of Denham Springs, LA, sisters Tammy Warren  of Moscow, TN and Terry Alcorn of Liberty, 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, along with numerous other family and a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Stokes, Grady Stokes, Jeff Stokes, Steve Stokes, Brad Stokes, and Ed Herring.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bryan Bates, Ronnie Johnston and Shelby Stokes.
