Barbara Jo Brown, 78, of Summit, MS passed away January 15, 2023 at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Hartman Jones Funeral Home from 9:00 AM until services at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will follow in Johnston Station Baptist Church Cemetery.  Rev. Glenn Bird will officiate.  Hartman Jones Funeral Home will be in Charge of the arrangements.

Barbara was born on July 20, 1944 in Webster County, MS to Elbert W. Davis and Pauline Ray Davis Coghlan.  She was a member of Johnston Station Baptist Church.  She enjoyed crocheting and cooking for the family.  She spent time reading and enjoyed the time with Dennis exploring local areas and fishing.  She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, taking delight in the time spent with them.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her spouse Dennis G. Brown, her grandchild Cory Michael Young, a great grandchild Autumn Bozeman.

She is survived by her daughters Denise Young (Wayne) of Summit, Debbie Rutledge (Kevin) of Brookhaven, a brother Bobby Ray Davis (Judy) of Brookhaven, ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, along with numerous other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Johnston Station Baptist Church.
