Betty Ann Rushing, 69, a resident of McComb, MS; passed away May 27, 2022 at Merit Health Wesley in Hattiesburg, MS.  Visitation will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022 at Hartman Jones Funeral Home from 9:00 AM until services at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Bogue Chitto cemetery. Hartman Jones Funeral Home will handle the arrangements.  Dr. David Millican will officiate.

Betty was born in McComb, MS on October 12, 1952 to MJ Westmoreland and Jeanie Westmoreland.  She  was a member of Central Baptist Church.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed time with her family and especially grandchildren.  She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Reid Rushing.

Betty is survived by her daughters Katie Seago Temple (Podgie) of Hattiesburg, MS and Keri Seago Sanders (Brian) of McComb, MS; stepson Ron Rushing of Summit, MS and step daughter Sarah Rushing of McComb, MS; grandchildren Taylor Gatlin, Lola Gatlin, Layne Gatlin, Davis Temple, Georgia Kate Temple, Hastings Temple, Joey Rushing, Maggie Rushing, Burke Haney and Pallie Rushing; along with numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be:  Mike Hall, Joey Rushing, Ron Rushing, Bryan Kendrick, Philip Mantle, Burke Haney and Eric Reeves.

In lieu of flowers donations in Mrs. Betty Rushing's honor can be made to Central Baptist Church.
