Jordan
July 26, 1956 – March 23, 2024
Billy Ray Jordan, 67, of McComb, MS passed away on March 23, 2024 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Billy Ray Jordan was blessed with a large and loving family that will forever think the world of him. He took his role as a provider very seriously, and at the peak of his career, Billy worked across the country as the Executive Director of Maintenance and Modifications within various Nuclear Power Plants such as: Salsbury Industries, CB&I, and Entergy.
He was a cherished husband for over 20 years, an amazing father, and the best Popeye and Paw Paw to his grandchildren. Billy had a passion for cooking, and one could usually find him behind a grill preparing his famous, "Billy Burgers" or in the kitchen cooking various types of breakfast foods. He loved nothing more than spending time with each and every one of his family members. His gentle spirit and genuine compassion for others enriched the lives of everyone around him.
He leaves a legacy of love, laughter, and compassion that will endure his family and friends forever. Though he may be gone from sight, his memory will forever live on in the hearts of his loved ones. His memory will forever be a beacon of love and light that will guide his loved ones through the darkest of days. May he rest in eternal peace, knowing he was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
He was preceded in death by parents and one son, Jeremy Jordan.
He is survived by his wife, Lynn Harveston Jordan, six daughters Melissa Jordan, Kelsey Malbrough (Brandon), Kayla Thomas (Matthew), Kymberli McDowell, Karli McDowell and Hope Jordan, one brother Bobby Jordan, one sister Dianne Steele (David), fifteen grandchildren Byron (Amanda), Dixie (Logan), Eli, Clayton, Jaxon, Rocky, Noah, Hadley, Bentley, Nash, Blakely, Sawyer, Drake, Lincoln and Waylon; three great-grandchildren Tucker, Brett and Wyatt with numerous nieces and nephews.
