Obituary

Bobbie Jean Tullos Kirkland, 82, of Summit, MS began her rest in the arms of Jesus on January 24, 2022.

Mrs. Kirkland was born on October 26, 1939 in Lawrence County, MS to Percy and Lucy King Lambert.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Homer Tullos; her brothers J.W., Bill Hollis, JP, Paul and Oscar Lambert.

She is survived by her husband Claude "Kirk" Kirkland of Summit, MS; her children Joel Tullos of Henderson, AR; LaWanda Weidman and her husband Kirk of Houston, TX; Wylie Tullos and his wife Sherron of Summit, MS; Harvey Tullos and his wife Joy of Columbia, MS; Chad Tullos and his wife Naomi of Nashville, TN; and Jonathan Tullos and his wife Brenda of Lonoke, AR; nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She also leaves behind three sisters, Christine Weeks of Kentwood, LA; Bonnie Brister of Jayess, MS; and Evelyn McKnight of Waverly, TN.

Visitation will be Wednesday evening at Hartman-Jones Funeral Home in McComb from 5 until 8 PM and Thursday from 9 until services at 10:00 AM at First United Pentecostal Church 1117 Hwy. 98 E. McComb, MS. Rev. Terry Ballard and Rev. Dale Carter will officiate under the direction of Hartman Jones Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the New Bethel Church Cemetery in Jayess, MS.
