Bonnie L. Kemp, 90, a resident of Tylertown, MS passed away on January 7, 2026 at Diversicare in Tylertown, MS.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 9, 2025 at Tylertown Cemetery at 1 PM with Rev. Justin Knight officiating. Hartman Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Bonnie was born on October 23, 1935 to the late H.V. Beard and L'Marie Breland Beard in Tylertown, MS

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband James "Jimmy" Kemp; a daughter Donna M. Lewis; a grandchild Katie Marie Kemp; a sister Drexel Huhn; and two brothers Harold Linwood Beard and John Leslie Beard.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law David B. (Susan) Kemp and James H. (Mary Ann) Kemp; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Pallbearers will be James H "JJ" Kemp, Jr., Marlin A. "Mac" Kemp, Carey Smith, Jimmy Pierce, Tony Conerly, and Mark Brock.
