Brad Newman, 47, passed away January 4, 2023 in Baton Rouge, LA.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 1:00 PM until services at 2:00 PM at Hartman Jones Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Bluff Springs cemetery.  Rev. Alton Foster will officiate.  Hartman Jones Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements

He was preceded in death by his mother Darna Newman, several aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his father Bob Newman of Baton Rouge, LA, his children Kailee Newman of Baton Rouge, LA, Michael "Alex" Newman of Baton Rouge, Abigail Newman of Baton Rouge, LA, a granddaughter Bethany Lucille Hasten, his best friends Regina Pritt and George Walters, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Brad was baptized as a boy and practiced the Southern Baptist Faith.  He worked for the State of Louisiana as an IT Consultant. He was a Louisiana State University graduate and he was an avid LSU Tiger fan.  He loved reading, watching Marvel movies with his children; he was a collector of comic books.  He enjoyed the time he spent beating his children at Magic The Gathering and  spending time on the weekends with his youngest Abby.

Pallbearers will be Hunter Newman, George Walters, Nikolas Hasten, Laddie Payne, Cody Payne, and Clay Kirkland,
