John Benjamin "Butch" Andrews, 75, of McComb, MS, passed away April 26, 2023.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 12:00 PM until memorial services at 2:00 PM at Hartman Jones Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will be held in Hollywood cemetery.

Butch was born on July 10, 1947 in McComb, MS to John Ben Andrews, Sr. and Thelma Gertrude Hannan Andrews.

He was a member of New Heights Baptist Church. He served his country as a United States Marine Veteran. Mr. Andrews was the owner-operator of Andrews Metals in McComb until his retirement. He enjoyed long camping trips to Pigeon Forge, TN, he spent time sitting on the balcony with his coffee. He was a jokester and loved to pull a good prank on those he cared for. He loved to laugh and enjoyed life to the fullest. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Connie Andrews, CJ "Dickie" Andrews and James "Jim" Davis Andrews.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years Paulette Andrews of McComb and a son John T. Andrews (Stephanie) of Osyka, MS; grandchildren Bryanna Lynn Andrews and Ethan Paul Andrews, sisters Jeannie Reed and Marsha Hitt (Raymond).
