Calvin D. Munts, 85, a resident of McComb, MS; passed away June 30, 2023 at his residence.  Memorial services will be held on Sunday, July 16, 2023 at 10:30 AM at the Horace Holmes Building at Southwest Mississippi Junior College.  Bro. Robert Netterville will officiate.

Calvin was born on October 28, 1937 in Sweethome, Oregon to Glenn F. Munts and Lydia L. Edmison Munts.  He was a member of Central Baptist Church and a United States Navy Veteran.  Calvin did many things during his life, his last job was facing shelves for "Little Debbie" at Walmart.  He loved traveling, camping, and hiking while he was able.  He was an avid crafter.  He made beautiful quilts, diamond paintings and plastic canvas, along with woodburning. He loved the Lord, his church and his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and an older brother.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years Marilyn Brown Munts of McComb, his sons Edwin "Chip"  (Dianna) of McComb, Christopher of New Mexico, Robbie of California, Matthew of McComb and Daniel of McComb, a daughter Michele Theriot of New York, a brother Ray Munts (Marge) of Montana, 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, along with numerous other relatives and friends.
