Mr. Carl Jackson "Jack" Terrell, 85, a resident of Magnolia, died at his residence on Monday, February 21, 2022.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 9:00 AM until services at 11 AM at Silver Creek Baptist Church. The Reverend Donnie Coker will officiate. Burial will be in the Silver Creek Cemetery with Hartman-Jones Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements
He was born August 17, 1936 in Magnolia, the son of the late Carl Alford and Elizabeth Jackson Terrell.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Cora Ann Magee; one step-son, Jordan McNabb; one nephew, Allen Bennet Beard.
Mr. Jackson served in the United States Air Force, and after his service, he returned and founded a successful used car dealership, The Trading Post, which has operated for over 40 years He was a member of Silver Creek Baptist Church.
Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife, Phyllis Travis Terrell; two step-daughters, Chasity Lindfors of McComb and Heidi Tisdale of Magnolia; one sister, Mary Nell Grayson of Nashville, Tennessee; five grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Pallbearers will be Cliff Magee, Chuck Magee, Michael Carroll, Jim Henkle, Houston "Sonny" Travis and Michael Hemphill.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ted Raborn, Jimmy Minton, J.C. Johnson; Bill Johnson, Wayne Caston, Claude King and Blake Shaw.
