Carolyn Horton, 76, of Magnolia, MS passed away January 17, 2024 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. No services are to be announced at this time.

Carolyn was born on November 13, 1947 to the late Arlington H. Wade and Dorothy Smelley Wade.

She was a lover of her many feline four legged companions. She enjoyed gardening, and grew anything except food.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sons, Robert Simmonds and Keith Simmonds.

She is survived by her husband of 42 wonderful years, Joe Floyd Horton; one brother, Billy Wayne Wade; one daughter Carolyn Carver (Kenneth); eight grandchildren Dwayne, Justin, Rebekah, Trish, CJ, Chad, Aaron, and Sierra; thirteen great-grandchildren; along with one aunt and one cousin.
