Carolyn Sue Whittington, 69, of McComb passed away February 22, 2024 at her residence.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2024 from 9 AM until services at 11 AM. Burial will be at Whittington Cemetery. Bro. Johnny Bley will officiate. Hartman Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Sue was born on July 31, 1954 to the late Boyd Frith Wells and Dorothy Smith Wells.

Sue was a member of North McComb Baptist Church and taught Sunday School for many years. She worked as a bank teller. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, James A. Whittington Jr.; one son, James A. Whittington III; one sister Sandra Blanchard (Randie); two brothers Robert Wells (Evelyn) and Billie Wells (Ellen); along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
