Cecil David Roberts, Jr., 64, a resident of McComb, MS; passed away on February 12, 2022 at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center.  Visitation will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Hartman Jones Funeral Home from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM.  Graveside services will be held at 2:30 PM in Enon Cemetery in Jayess.

David was born on January 23, 1958 in McComb, MS to Cecil David Roberts, Sr. and Rita Dunn Roberts.  David was a member of First Baptist Church McComb. He worked for many years as a car salesman for the family dealership Smith-Roberts. Then he went to Howell Mazda, and was affiliated with Edgewood Motors.  He loved all sports and spent many weekends playing golf at Fernwood Country Club.

He was preceded in death by his father Cecil Robets, Sr. and his grandparents; Mr. and Mrs. Perry Roberts, Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Grover Dunn.

He is survived by his mother Rita D. Roberts of McComb, his sisters Donna Roberts Ard and Jim of Ruth, MS and Dianne Roberts Overby and Kirk of Denham Springs, LA, a niece Katie Overby of Denham Springs, LA.

In lieu of flowers donations in his honor can be made to the Parklane Academy- baseball, football and golf programs or to the Dixie Youth Baseball program.
