Charles H. Arickson, 91, of Hattiesburg, MS., passed away on August 2, 2023 at the Windham House in Hattiesburg surrounded by his loving family.

Visitation will be held Sunday, August 6, 2023 at Hartman-Jones Funeral Home in McComb from 1 PM until services at 3 PM. Rev. Neil Harvison will officiate and burial will follow at Hollywood cemetery in McComb, MS.

Charles was born on December 15, 1931, in Carroll County, MS to the late Robert F. and Erma Lee Reed Arickson.

Charles was a retired foreman from Great Southern Wire Bound Box Company, a member of the Mason's and a member of Pine View Baptist Church of Hattiesburg, MS. (He was formerly a member of Central Baptist Church of McComb). He was a devoted Christian man who enjoyed teaching Sunday School and having bible studies. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, baseball and football. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grand, great-grand and great-great grandfather. He will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Mary Sue Jackson Arickson and his second wife Glenda Harrell Arickson; one son Randall Arickson, one brother Robert L. Arickson, one sister Quida Arickson Dillon; two granddaughters, Ashley Wren and Judy Stahl.

He is survived by three sons Vince Carona (Gretchen), Richard Carona Jr., and Christopher Carona; two daughters, Linda Hale (Jimmy) and Carolee Carter (Melvin), daughter in-law Cheri Arickson with numerous grand, great-grand, great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Vince Carona, David Hale, Matthew Carona, Chance Brister, Robbie Arickson and Floyd Perry. Honorary pallbearer will be Ricky McCullough.
