Charles V. Tudor, 93, of Summit, MS., passed away on May 1, 2024, at Camellia Estates in McComb, MS.
Visitation will be Monday May 6, 2024, from 5 PM until 8 PM at Tangipahoa Baptist Church, with visitation again on Tuesday from 11 AM until services at 12 Noon at the church. Rev. Mike Morris will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery with Military honors. Hartman-Jones Funeral Home of McComb will be in charge of arrangements.
Charles was born on June 25, 1930, in Atlanta, IL. He was the son of the late Stephen M. and Garrnett Tudor.
Charles was a retired Carman from the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad. He served in the U.S Army and was a member of Tangipahoa Baptist Church in Summit, MS. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grand and great-grandfather. He was a man of faith and avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed golf, fishing, hunting, and camping. He will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wives, Norma Tudor and Flora May Tudor, his daughter, Vicki Nunnery and her husband, James Michael Nunnery, three brothers Kenneth, Steven and Larry Tudor, one granddaughter, Amanda Sue Tudor.
He is survived by his son, Charles K. Tudor (Teresa), four grandchildren, Jamie Nunnery, Darrick Tudor (Beth), Neil Tudor and Amy Orange (Kyle), three great-grandchildren, a special cousin "brother" Donny Tudor with numerous other nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Charles K. Tudor, Neil Tudor, Jamie Nunnery, Walter Chisholm, Travis Taylor Sr, and Joel Steele.
