Charlsie Ann Keene, 80, of Summit, MS passed away October 27, 2024 at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Hartman Jones Funeral Home from 9:30 AM until services at 11 AM. Rev. Terry Ballard will officiate and burial will be at First United Pentecostal Church Cemetery.

Charlsie was born in Oktibbeha Co., MS on July 20, 1944 to her parents, the late Lonnie Ervin Edmonds and Jessie Mae Ivey Edmonds. She and her husband, Nelson, were the last owners of the White House Drive In. She was stern but had a lot of love to give. She loved her grandchildren and her great-grands. She prayed for her family's salvation daily. Charlsie was a wonderful southern cook. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers Lonnie Ervin Edmonds, Jr., Birl Edmonds, Augusta "Gus" Edmonds, Jack Edmonds, and Ottis Edmonds; three sisters Catherine Newsome, Darlene Hutson, and Evealena Deer Thrash; and one grandson Joshua Golmon.

She is survived by her husband of 63 loving years, Nelson Edward Keene; three sons Victor Keene (Sandra), Ronnie Keene (Sheila) and Michael Keene (Amy); one daughter Anita Golmon (Mark); eight grandchildren Adam, Joyce, Logan, Jacob, Morgan, Victoria, Karley, and Kelton; Eighteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Victor Keene, Ronnie Keene, Michael Keene, Adam Keene, Jacob Golmon, and Kelton Keene. Honorary Pallbearers will be Austin Keene and Morgan Golmon.
