Christina Marie Riad, 61, of McComb, MS passed away January 31, 2022 at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Riad was born on June 13, 1960 in Coldwater, OH to the late Eugene E. Rentz and Edna Marie Rentz

She was a radiating light that no degree of worldly darkness could extinguish.  Her strong, fierce soul was perfectly tied with endless flow of grace.  As a wife and mother, she was the warm heart that built the most loving home.  As a sister and friend, she was the smile and laugh that brought every room together.  She was the calm in every storm and could point out the rainbow afterwards.  Each and every day, she chose a positive attitude and demonstrated immense strength.  To know her was too deeply and truly love her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Richard Rentz.

Survivors include her husband Dr. Ash Riad of McComb, MS; three children Ashtin E. Riad, Austin R. Riad, and Victoria M. Riad all of McComb, MS; two sisters Dr. Susan Keisner and her husband Alan of Los Alamitos, CA; Linda Alanis and her husband Audencio of League City, TX; one brother Ronald Rentz; seven nieces and nephews Jonathan Keisner, Bethany Keisner, Cody Moore, Anthony Alanis, Dominique Alanis, Alexis Rentz and Ashley Rentz.

Visitation and prayer services will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church 501 Delaware Ave. McComb, MS from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM with Father Suresh Thirumalareddy officiating.

There will be a funeral mass at St. Thomas More Catholic Church 10330 Hollcroft St. Houston, TX on Saturday February 12, 2022 at 12:00 noon.  A private family burial will follow at Forrest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
