Mrs. Clara A. McCullough, 75, a resident of Ruth passed away at her residence on Monday, May 1, 2023.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2023 from 10 A.M. till service time at 12 Noon at Shady Grove Baptist Church. Rev. Jesse Greer will officiate. Burial will be in the Shady Grove Cemetery with Hartman-Jones Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

She was born April 4, 1948 in McComb, the daughter of the late Hilton T. and Lillie Bell Anglin Buie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Van McCullough and one brother, James Hilton Buie.

Mrs. McCullough was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. In her early years, she loved raising and "running" cows. She also loved watching baseball and was an avid Pittsburg and St. Louis fan. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors are her sons, Mark Bailey, Richie Bailey, Trent Bailey and wife, Susie, Van "Shot" McCullough, and a special friend, Marcia Covington; 8 Grandchildren and 8 plus one on the way Great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Eric Bailey, Robert Bailey, Ross Bailey, Austin Bailey, Lane Gendron and Austin Murphy.

Honorary pallbearers will be Brett Moak and Wesley Foil.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Shady Grove Baptist Church Fund.

The family would like to thank St. Luke Hospice and Mrs. McCullough's sitters and caretakers for their loving care and compassion.
