Cliff Allen Thornhill 82, passed away September 19, 2022 at The Claiborne in McComb.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 23, 2022 from 9:30 until 10:30 AM at Hartman Jones Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM in the Moak's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.  Dr. David Millican will officiate. Hartman-Jones Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Thornhill was born October 24, 1939 in the Moak's Creek Community in Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Clifton Andrew Thornhill and Leno Marie Greer Thornhill.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all.

He was self-employed as a dairyman and beef cattle farmer for 58 years and attended First Baptist Church of McComb.

Mr. Thornhill was preceded in death by his parents; a brother-in-law, Charlie Adams; a nephew, Drew Waldrup; his father-in-law, Robert L. Adams and his mother-in-law, Eva Nell Adams.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Carolyn Adams Thornhill of Summit; three daughters: Suzonne McLean of McComb, Bronwyn (Jason) Canton of Hernando, Mississippi, and Sonya (Kenneth) Beck of Summit; one sister, Glendora (Jerry) Waldrup of Euless, Texas; a sister-in-law, Tina Adams of Ruth; a brother-in-law, Wallace (Barbara) Adams of Bogue Chitto, Mississippi. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren: Kamree (Daniel) Hall, Lesley (Daniel) Chisholm, Lindsay McLean, Cody Beck (Cassidy), Eli (Aubree) Canton, Caleb (Dusty) McLean, Cade Canton (Emily), Bo (Reagan) Canton, and Shelley McLean; 17 Great-grandchildren and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and many wonderful friends.

Pallbearers will be Cody Beck, Eli Canton, Cade Canton, Bo Canton, Caleb McLean, and Thomas Williams.

Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel Chisholm and Daniel Hall.
