David M. Barron, 80, of Summit , MS., passed away on June 28, 2026 at his home surrounded by his loved ones.

No services to be announced at this time. Hartman-Jones Funeral Home of McComb is in charge of arrangements.

David was born in McComb, MS., on March 5, 1946. He is the son of the late, Howard and Lena Price Barron.

David was a Parts Tech in the automotive industry and was of the Christian faith. He was a wonderful and caring husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. He enjoyed gardening and especially his joy in life, was his grand and great-grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his family.

He is preceded by his parents, his wife, Martha Jo Barron, one brother, Howard Lee Barron Jr., and a sister, Ann Barron.

He is survived by two sons, Stephan P. Barron and David Brian Barron (Jill), one brother, Bruce K. Barron, one granddaughter, Michelle Barron Guy (Joseph), three great-grandchildren, Mason Guy, Owen Guy and Scarlett Guy with numerous nieces and nephews.
