David L. Wilson, 86, a resident of Summit, MS; passed away June 18, 2023 at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at Hartman Jones Funeral Home from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM.  Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM in Hollywood cemetery.  Rev. Floyd Wingo and Bro. Andy Morris will officiate.  Hartman Jones Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.

David was born on April 28, 1937 in McComb, MS to Thomas Ray Wilson and Ruby Dell Bales Wilson.  He was a member of Tangipahoa Baptist Church, and was a Mason.  He worked for many years in sales with various lumber companies.  He enjoyed being outdoors, raising cattle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Stephen Clark Wilson, three sisters Mary Helen Wilson Byrd, Martha Wilson Jordan, and Susan Wilson Berryhill, and a brother Ray Wilson,

He is survived by his wife Eleanor Artmann Wilson of Summit, a son Kenny Wilson (Tammy) of Summit, grandchildren Kayrn (Clay) Wallace, Rebecca Wilson, Jared (Leah) Wilson, Colton (Brandy) Wilson, and Codi Wilson, great grandchildren Macey Kate, Paxton, Courtney, Savannah, Wren, and Maverick, along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Clay Wallace, Joe Byrd. Mark Statham. Jim Byrd and James Artmann, Jr.
