Mr. Denver Deer, 76, a resident of Summit, died as his residence on Monday, July 4, 2022.

No services are planned at this time.

He was born December 1, 1945 in Summit, Mississippi, the son of the late Roy Deer and Mildred Lethco Tuttle.

He was retired from the oil industry and was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He had a great love for the outdoors and animals, having many raccoons as pets.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Edith L. Deer.

Mr. Deer is survived by one son, Clint Deer; one daughter, Nancy Gay; three brothers: Timothy Deer, Lowell Deer, and Kerry Deer; 3 Grandchildren and 2 Great-grandchildren.
