Sidney Dwayne Wilkinson, 60, of Smithdale, MS passed away August 17, 2023 at

the University Medical Center in Jackson.

Visitation will be Monday August 21, 2023 At Mt. Gilead Primitive Baptist

Church,  3124 Mount Gilead Rd. SE Smithdale, MS form 10:00 AM until services

at 12:00. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Elder Luke Addison will

officiate under the direction of Hartman Jones Funeral Home of McComb.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Parsons, Derek Parsons, Eric Parsons, Jake Young,

Christopher Lilly and Scotty Wilkinson. Honorary pallbearers will be Jay Evans,

Sawyer Evans, Steve Terry and Ethan Terry and Ken Goss.

Mr. Wilkinson was born on December 22, 1962 in Brookhaven, MS to Shelton

Wilkinson and Reba Nell Wilkinson.

Dwayne or as most of you probably knew him, Rollercoaster,

was a loving husband and father of two sons. He attended West Lincoln School

where he met his wife of 39 years. He spent his days doing what he loved,

driving his log truck, spending time with family, and tending to his chickens.

Dwayne was a man of great faith and a member of Mt Gilead Primitive Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father Shelton Wilkinson; his son Austin Lee

Wilkinson.

Survivors include his wife Tonya Parsons Wilkinson of Smithdale,

MS; son Cody Lane Wilkinson of Smithdale, MS; mother Reba Nell Wilkinson

of Brookhaven, MS; three sisters Rita Goss (Ken) of Brookhaven; Brenda Evans

(Jay) of Brookhaven; Linda Terry (Steve) of Texas; and a host of nieces,

nephews, relatives and friends.
