Elaine Reed Reeves, 95, a resident of Summit, MS; passed away at home on July 14, 2025.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Hartman Jones Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until services at 12:00 PM.  Dr. David Millican will officiate.

Mrs. Reeves was born December 16, 1929, in Maben, Oktibbeha County, MS.  She was the daughter of Charlie Dyle Reed and Ila Fulgham Reed.

She was a loving mother to three children.  She was a member of Central Baptist Church for forty years.

Mrs. Reeves was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Grady Reed and Doyle Reed, and a sister Edna Fulgham; also, her husband of forty-eight years T. Homer Reeves and two sons Kenneth C. Reeves and J. Carl Reeves.

She is survived by her daughter K. Diane Reeves and a sister Elner Reed Sisk, and a daughter-in-law Jill Reeves.  She is also survived by three grandchildren, Ashley Girard (Jimmy), Matthew Reeves (Lisa), and Jason Reeves, and two step grandchildren Ernie Buisson and Ben Buisson.  Along with four great grandchildren, Tennyson Cozart, Matty Cozart, Emery Reeves and Cash Girard, and two step great grandchildren Carson Girard and Katy Girard, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Reeves, Jason Reeves, Tennyson Cozart, Phillip Reed, Derek Reed and Jimmy Girard.
