Graveside services for Mr. Eugene Rea Taylor, 63, will be held at 1 P.M. on Friday, December 22, 2023 at Pike Memorial Gardens.  The Reverend Trent Bilbo will officiate.  Mr. Taylor, a resident of Magnolia, died at his residence on Saturday, December 16, 2023.

He was born June 7, 1960 in New Orleans, Louisiana, the son of the late Eugene Young Taylor and Mary Ellen Rea Taylor.  He was a farmer and a member of Ducks Unlimited.  He served in the United States Army during Operation Urgent Fury.

Mr. Taylor is survived by one son, William Rea Taylor of Fort Drum, New York.  One sister, Virginia Oswalt of Madison, Mississippi.  His ex-wife, Marsha Leigh Taylor of Jackson, Mississippi.
