Faye Lee Hastings Dean, 82, of McCall Creek, Mississippi passed away peacefully on February 8, 2023 with family and friends at her side.

She was born on November 7, 1940 the daughter of the late Sidney Hastings and Margie Thomas Hastings,

Visitation will be held Friday, February 10, 2023 from 11:30 AM until funeral service at 12:00 PM at Ebenezer Methodist Church. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery. Rev. Toby Jones is officiating.

Faye received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Southern Mississippi.  One of only a few women to achieve the designation as a Registered EEG Technician while at Hinds General Hospital for twenty years, Faye resided in Jackson, MS until 1995 when she moved to McCall Creek to open the Neurodiagnostics Department at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center. Prior to the health services industry, Faye worked alongside husband Bruce selling real estate and was recognized by the Business and Professional Women Organization of Jackson as Woman of the Year.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents Sidney Hastings and Margie Thomas Sullivan and her husband Harrell Bruce Dean, Jr.

She is survived by her son Todd Dean (Cheryl) of Pearl River, LA, grandchildren Cameron Dean (Megan), Spencer Dean (Shelby), and Kathryn Dean; and one great-grandchild, Dallas Dean.
