Frances "Shoo" Petitto Milne, 88, of McComb passed away November 17, 2023 at McComb Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. A visitation will be held Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Hartman Jones Funeral Home from 1 PM to 3 PM. A private graveside will follow shortly after. Hartman Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangments.

Frances was born August 2, 1935 to Joe Petitto and Sarah Currier Petitto in Amite, Louisiana.

Frances was of the Catholic Faith and a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. She was the captain of the Amite High School basketball team throughout junior high school and high school. She was an avid golfer, bowler, and card player. She never met a stranger. She was always involved with her children and grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 35 years, Alexander Bruce Milne; and one brother, Sam Petitto.

She is survived by her daughter, Jo Renee Milne Bass of Summit, MS; her son, Brigner Milne of Raleigh, NC; two grandsons, Eric Cody Bass of San Francisco, CA and Jesse Allen Fortenberry of McComb, MS; two nephews Joe Petitto and Sammy Petitto of Amite, LA; one niece Mary Lynn Petitto Thompson (John) of Amite, LA; and numerous grandnieces and grandnephews.
