Wyatt Barron, 64, a resident of Liberty, MS; passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at his residence.  No services are scheduled at this time.  Hartman Jones Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.

Wyatt was born on August 23, 1957 in McComb, MS to O.C. Barron and Dorothy Wilson Barron.  He was a member of East Fork Baptist Church.  Wyatt learned carpentry from his father, and he became well-known in this area for the excellent work he did.  He loved to go to the Mississippi River and run trot lines for catfish.  He liked to plant a garden and sit in his shed and watch it grow.  His family will miss the crawfish boils that he hosted.  He was always willing to help a friend and family, and loved Amite County.

He is preceded in death by his father O.C. Barron and a nephew Brandon Jackson.

Wyatt is survived by is wife Kelly Smith Barron of Liberty, his mother Dorothy Barron of Summit, his sons Micheal Barron of Holmesville and Brent Barron (Kaylea) of Clinton, LA, his daughter Shannon Stevens (Dwayne) of Holmesville, his sisters Sharon Steele and Shawn Jackson (Ricky) both of Summit and Kim Golden (Marc) of Liberty, his grandchildren Shelby Stevens, DJ Stevens, McKenzie Stevens and Carson Stevens, along with  numerous other relatives and a host of friends.  Wyatt will be greatly missed by those that knew and loved him.
