Obituary


Glenn Smith Forman, 73, of Magnolia, MS, passed away on February 10, 2025, at SMRMC in McComb, MS.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 11, 2025, from 5 PM till 8 PM at Fernwood Baptist Church. Visitation will resume Wednesday from 10 AM until services at 11 AM at the church. Rev. Trent Moak will officiate. Hartman-Jones Funeral Home of McComb will be in charge of arrangements.

Glenn was born on July 5, 1951, in Magnolia, MS, to the late Ardry Van and Mamie Toney Forman.

Glenn was a member of Fernwood Baptist Church and was a retired auto parts manager.  He mastered the knowledge of the parts business for over 55 years and built a family of loyal customers.  He still worked at Kentwood Auto Parts where his co-workers called him Popa Glenn.  He was honored to have played football for the South Pike Bearcats in Magnolia.  He loved reliving his glory days by sharing his fondest football memories and stats with anyone who would listen.  He considered his three children and four grandchildren his proudest legacy.

He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Emerson Forman, Noel Forman, Barbara Garner, Jerry Foreman, Sue Stockton, James Forman, and Betty Sandifer.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Deborah Coker Forman; two sons, Jason Forman (Brett), Jarrett Forman (Ashley); one daughter, Bambi Cook (Chris); one sister, Mamie Kirk (David); and four grandchildren Mary Ella Cook, Brody Cook, Lane Forman, and Charlotte Forman with numerous nieces, nephews, and beloved sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

Pallbearers will be Doug Forman, Lloyd Simmons, Chuck Evans, Greg Ray, Brody Cook, Justin Forman, Trey Rooker, Daniel Greer, Andrew Greer, Hunter Ray, and Stuart Middleton.

Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of Kentwood Auto Parts.

Memorial donations may be made to Fernwood Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 149, Fernwood, MS 39635 or Children's of Mississippi Hospital in Jackson, MS.
