Harold Eugene Tyler, 73, a resident of Liberty, MS; passed away on January 26, 2022 at Merit Health in Natchez, MS. No arrangements are to be announced at this time.
Harold was born on January 12, 1949 in Anguilla, MS to William Harold Tyler and Alice Mae Perkins Tyler. He was a United States Army veteran, having served in Vietnam. Upon discharge he was decorated with the National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Expert Rifle and Sharp Shooter Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Bronze Star. Mr. Tyler was a member of The Disabled American Veterans. He worked for many years as a skilled roofer for various companies. He was an avid LSU football fan and loved to read and cook. He was a loving husband, father, and great grandfather whom enjoyed time with his family and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers-in-law Darryl Stevenson and Bill Cody, good friends Bill Pruitt and Tim and Pat Sterling, along with many other special friends.
He is survived by his wife Peggy D. Lusk of Liberty, sons Stephen Lusk of Liberty; Joseph Tyler (Heather) of Arizona; Scotty Tyler of Arizona, daughters Jennifer Tyler Begley (Robert) of West Monroe, LA; Emily Coleman (Brandon) of Ocean Springs, MS; Kimberly Tyler of Ocean Springs; Ann Tyler of Little Rock, Arkansas, a brother Glen Spillman of Baker, LA, sisters Pamela Blaylock (Winston) of Liberty; Nita Cody of Liberty; Wanda Tyler of Battle Ground, WA and Carolyn Tyler, special neice and nephews Autumn Blalock; Rocky Stevenson; William Cody, along with many other relatives and friends.
