Hilda Mae Jordan Walker died July 27, 2022 at Brightmoor Hospice in Griffin, GA. She was 97.

Services will be held at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Bogue Chitto, MS. with visitation Tuesday, August 2 at 10 a.m. and service at 11:00 AM, graveside to follow. Arrangements are by Hartman-Jones Funeral Home in McComb, MS.

Born in Summit, MS. on May 21, 1925, she was the middle child of Louis and Bonnie Jordan's five children. She graduated from Ruth High School in 1943, and married Earl Walker in 1945. They lived in Natchez, MS. where they raised their three children, a son and two daughters, and they retired to Summit, MS. Hilda was a homemaker and was known as "Mimi" to those who knew and loved her. She was a loving mother, wife, sister and grandmother. As she aged, she moved to McDonough, GA. and lived with her daughter, Trish Walker, for 14 years. She was the oldest member of Bethany Baptist Church in McDonough.

She is preceded in death by her parents Louis and Bonnie Jordan, her brothers, Venable Jordan and Travis Jordan, her sister, Helen Jordan Henderson, and her husband, Earl Walker.

Those left to cherish memories of Mimi include her sister Dorothy (Dot) Williams, her children Wayne (Terry) Walker, Trish Walker, Kay (Mark) Huntington, grandson Doug (Chasity) Walker, and great-grandson Joseph Walker, special friends Nancy and Joe Suttles, and numerous nieces, nephews, and their children. The family is asking in lieu of flowers donations can be made to Brightmoor Hospice in Griffin, GA.
