Hiram T. Griffith III, 85, of Magnolia, MS passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024 at Walthall County Hospital. He was born September 1, 1938, in Cleveland, MS to Josphine Pegues and Hiram T. Griffith, Jr.

Hiram was a member of the Episcopal Faith and attended the Church of the Mediator in McComb, MS. He was a communications specialist and owned his own business for many years called Communication Systems. He served his country in the United States Navy and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

He is preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Claudia G. Mitchell, Josephine "Jo-Jo" G. Culbertson, and Mary Louise "Mimi" G. Robb.

He is survived by his wife, Debra; brother, William Nicolas Griffith (Anita), son, Hiram T. "Bubba" Griffith IV (Shelly), two daughters, Blaine G. Harkins (Andrew) and Georgiana G. Hawken (Kevin), stepdaughter, Sumer Johnston (Ronald), stepson Jordan Cook (Rachel). Also, a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
