Howard Lee Barron Jr., 82, of Summit, MS., passed away August 31, 2024 at his residence.

A visitation will be held Wednesday September 4, 2024 at Hartman-Jones Funeral Home from 12 PM until graveside services at 2 PM. in Barron Cemetery in Summit, MS. Rev. Mike Morris will be officiating.

Howard was born on September 19, 1941 in Magnolia, MS. He was the son the late, Howard L. Barron Sr., and Lena Price Barron.

Howard was a retired mechanic for the railroad and served in the Army National Guard. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed raising beef cattle, riding his tractor and fishing. He was a wonderful and loving brother and friend. He will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Elizabeth Ann Barron.

He is survived by two brothers, David M. Barron and Kevin Bruce Barron, two nephews, Stephan Barron and Brian Barron (Jill).
