James Roy "Jimmy" Williams, 77, of Osyka, MS., passed away at his residence on October 31, 2024.

Visitation will be Saturday November 9, 2024 from 9 AM until 10:30 AM at Hartman-Jones Funeral Home of McComb. A graveside service will follow at 11 AM with Dr. Victor Walsh officiating, with service and burial at Roberts cemetery in Osyka.

James was born on December 22, 1946, in Osyka, MS. He is the son of the late, Irvin Lamar and Inez Coker Williams.

James, a member of Gillsburg Baptist Church, was known for his willingness to serve and help others in the community.  A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he served as a sergeant during the Vietnam era.  He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather that enjoyed every moment he spent with them. He will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one son  Michael Sean  Williams, two brothers, Earl Lamar Williams and Bobby Joe Williams.

He is survived by his brother Troy Williams (Jean), his two daughters, Alicia Kleinpeter (Alan) and Jan Lavespere (Josh); seven grandchildren Sierra Wilkinson, Jami Powers (Torey), Caleb Kleinpeter (Jordyn), Brooklyn Martin (Edward), Abigail Bourgeois (Brenden), Elizabeth Kleinpeter and Hudson Lavespere, seven great-grandchildren, and  numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Williams, Steven Williams, James Turner, Alan Kleinpeter, Caleb Kleinpeter, and Edward Martin.
