James K. Johnson, 60, of McComb, MS passed away on July 25, 2022 at Courtyard Rehab and healthcare center in McComb, MS

No services to be announced at this time. Hartman-Jones funeral home of McComb is in charge of arrangements.

James was born in Chalmette, LA on July 25, 1962 to the late Winston Anderson and Lillian Coker Johnson.

James was disabled and of the Baptist faith. He served in the U.S. Army in the 82nd Airborne Div. He was a wonderful and loving brother and friend who gave to his friends when they were in need. He was an avid "junk' collector and loved his cat snowball. He will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Those left to cherish his memory are his two brothers and their spouses Bennie and Cherie Johnson and Winston Johnson Jr., and Joan; three sisters and their spouses Nannette and Jimmy (Pete) McEwen, Mary Margaret and William B. (WB) Moak, and Dannie and James (Jimmy) Lewis with numerous nieces and nephews.
