James "Dutch" Pittman, 31, of Magnolia, MS stepped into eternity with Christ Monday, January 15, 2024. Visitation will be at Hartman Jones Funeral Home Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 10 AM until services at 12 PM. Hartman Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangments.

Dutch, as he liked to be called, was born in McComb, MS May 21, 1992, son of Samantha Pittman (deceased) and Brad McHaffey. He attended North Pike High School and Southwest Mississippi Community College.

Dutch was an extemely creative and talented individual with a brilliant mind. When young Dutch took art for the famous McComb Art Teacher Roger Lawrence, Roger always said his work was "museum worthy."

Dutch was so proud of the fact that he started working with O'Rileys on the counter and eventually became manager and then trouble shooter for the stores in MS and LA. His latest creative adventure was with Victors Tint and Graphic working with creating stunning creations on vehicles. He loved working with Victor Lowery, owner, and his two friends Tanner and Nathan. Victor said that he had impacted each of them in a different way.

Dutch was a member of New Heights Baptist Church. He never met a stranger and was able to relate to all kinds of people.

Dutch was a proud father of two boys, John Patrick Pittman Casonov (9) and Asa James Pittman (4). He was extremely close to his only sister, Nichole Lynn Pittman Bartle (John) of Antwerp, NY.

He is survived by his grandmother, Mary Ann Batia, his Uncle Dwayne Hughes (Nancy) and his Aunt Brenda "KK" Coleman (Jim) and many other uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

His smile and joy of life will be missed.
