Jane Bevon Travis, age 73, passed away on January 8, 2024 at Southwest Regional Medical Center, McComb, MS., after a brief illness due to cancer.

Mrs. Travis was a resident of the Gillsburg Community and a faithful member of Gillsburg Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband Ronnie Travis, daughter Rhonda Guidry and husband Chance Guidry, son Reed Travis and wife Penny Travis, a sister Roxanna Young and husband George Young, niece Tamara Young and nephew Trey Young, grandchildren Andrew Galatas, Victoria Evans, Julian Moinet, and Barron Travis. Great grandchildren, Cash Evans and Solomon Galatas.

Mrs. Travis grew up in Hattiesburg, Mississippi but after he marriage travelled and lived in numerous locations throughout the United States, returning to Gillsburg in 1999. Mrs. Travis was engaged in many Church and community activities and will be greatly missed. She had no fear of death and was strong in her FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST, and is resting in the arms of GOD.

There will be no formal funeral for Mrs. Travis and a "Remembrance Gathering" for friend and family will be held on Saturday, January 20th, at 11 AM., at Gillsburg Baptist Church, with Bro. Victor Walsh officiating.
