Jason Lionel Bankston, 52, of Magnolia, MS passed away July 6, 2024 at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 11, 2024 at Hartman Jones Funeral home from 11 AM until services at 12 PM. A graveside service will be held at Terry's Creek Baptist Church at 1:30 PM. Bro. Jeremy Greer will officiate. Hartman Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Jason was born on March 29, 1972 to Reginald Lionel Bankston and Ilene Smith Bankston. He was humble and kind, and never complained. Jason would take care of everyone in any way he could. He liked to watch football and Nascar. He enjoyed family get-togethers. He was very compassionate with kids and animals. Jason was a loving uncle and loved his family. He will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Ilene Smith Bankston;

He is survived by his father, Reginald Lionel Bankston; four siblings Steve Bankston, Scott Bankston, Regina (Carl) Scott, and Melissa Bankston; five nieces and nephews Shane Bankston, Marissa Reynolds, Keely Bankston, Chase Finley, and Lexie Finley; close family friend Kim Snow; along with numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Shane Bankston, Chase Finley, Carl Scott, Timothy Martin, Billy Smith, Kelly Honea, and Ray Campbell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Charlie Smith, Ronnie Prescott, and Len Smith.
