Jason was born on February 8, 1986 in Hamilton, OH to Brenda Stranger Hoskins.

He was baptized at The Well after being saved in his twenties. Worked for Pike Co. Sheriff department and the McComb Police department, his passion was law enforcement and serving the community in any way possible. He studied police videos in order to better serve our community.  He was in the Mississippi National Guard 106 attached to the 155 Brigade.  He liked to learn any new skills. He enjoyed target practicing with his bow and arrows and firearms. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, music and spending time with his family.  He was a "helper" helping anyone wherever the need was needed. He loved to see the quality, and accomplishments of hard work. He was a teacher at heart and would mentor those he encountered to be better people. His "encouragement" didn't come with sugar but was given in love. He was blunt and to the point but was a genuine teddy bear.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Ronald Stranger, a best friend a brother and a fellow officer Corporal Zach Moak, a nephew James Blake, Jr. and his father-in-law Donald Morgan.

He is survived by his wife Rhae Blake of Jayess, his mother Brenda Hoskins of Iowa, his children Angala Blake of Jayess, Mason Blake of Jayess, Jaydan Blake of Ruth and Joshua Blake of Ruth, three brothers Christopher Blake (Cantaberry) of Davenport, Iowa, James Blake (Brittany) of Pretty Prairie, Kansas, Bradley Blake of Iowa City, Iowa and a sister Jessica (Joe) Chandler of Amana, Iowa, his mother-in-law Faye Morgan, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends
