Jean Inez Goldman, 79, a resident of Summit, MS, passed away on March 28, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her loved ones.

Visitation will be held Thursday March 31, 2022 from 9 AM until services at 11 AM at Hartman-Jones Funeral Home of McComb. Bro. David Whitehead will officiate and burial will be in Star Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Franklinton, LA (Warnerton Community, LA).

Jean was born on October 28, 1942 in Tylertown, MS. She was the daughter of the late Shelby and Lizzie Bess Miller Burch.

Jean was a homemaker and a member of Star Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She was the most wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, mother in-law and friend. She always had the sweetest spirit. She never met a stranger and she always told everyone about Jesus that she met. She enjoyed listening to gospel music and had a passion for flowers. She will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved her.

She was proceeded in death by her parents; her husband Joe Goldman, one daughter Shirry Pierce, one sister Patricia Slaven, one brother Milton Burch and her late husband Junior Earl Pierce.

She is survived by one son Sam Pierce of McComb, three daughters Windy Savoie (Chris) of Osyka, MS Loretta Imbornone (Darrell) of Husser, LA and Patricia Carruth (James) of Summit, MS; six brothers George Burch (Janice) of Mt. Hermon, LA Cecil Burch of Franklinton, LA Janson Burch (Patricia) Mt. Hermon, LA James Ray Burch of Mt. Hermon, LA Jerry Wayne Burch of Mt. Hermon and Shelby Burch Jr. of Franklinton, LA; four sisters Virginia Padgett of Mt, Hermon, LA Myra Diggs (Ricky) of Foxworth, MS Linda Miller of Franklinton, LA and Kay Rogers (Norman) of Mt. Hermon, LA; fifteen grandchildren Samantha Bishop, Tamra Bennett, Ashley Pierce, Erin Heinrichs, Christine Pierce, Earline Pierce, Miranda Jenkins, Levi Savoie, Nola Savoie, Zachary Savoie, Trey Imbornone, Cassidy Imbornone, Marc Imbornone, Rebecka Carruth and David Carruth; fifteen great-grandchildren with numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Trey Imbornone, Aaron Shelton, Levi Savoie, Tyler Costanza, Dewayne Pierce and Aaron Beck.

Honorary pallbearer will be Patrick Burch.
