Jimmie Kathryn Sharp Simmons, 85, a resident of Liberty, MS, passed away at Lane Regional Medical Center in Zachary, LA on May 5, 2024.

She was born on October 6, 1938 to the late Jimmy and Ivy Sharp.

Jimmie is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Kenneth Joel "Joe" Simmons; and one sister, Daisy Sharp.

She is survived by her daughter Jo Ann Simmons Bullock (Randy); her son, Ken Simmons (Cheryl); four grandchildren, Ryan Bullock, Randon Bullock (Adriannah), Ryley Bullock, and Julianna Simmons Roberts (Lukas); two great-grandchildren RJ Bullock and Jayson Roberts; two sisters Carolyn Cruise and Patsy Barron; seven nieces Debbie Sasson, Becky Wilson, Vicky Frye, Katie McKinley, Jeannie Estess, Mindy Carter, and Alinda Cruise White; two nephews, Sammy Ott and Don Cruise; along with other relatives and friends.
