Joel Lollar Sr., 67, of Pineville, LA, previously of Jayess, MS passed away February 4, 2024 in Pineville, LA.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 8, 2024 at New Bethel Jesus Name Church from 1 PM until services at 3 PM. Pastor Gary Robinson and Pastor Gentry Mangun will officiate. Hartman Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He was born on March 2, 1956 to the late Alex Lollar and Dorothy Elkins Lollar.

He was an avid musician, songwriter, singer, and minister of the gospel. He spent 28 years as a pastor and evangelist across North America.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Jonathan Lollar.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Lollar; one son, Joel Lollar, Jr.; two daughters Romona Massey (Jeffery) and Vanessa Lareau (Joseph); six grandchildren Maya, Liam, Little Joe, Jack, Jonny, and Jaxon; two brothers Mike Lollar (Dorita) and Ronnie Lollar (Bonnie); one sister Sandra Roberts (Joe); along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Mike Lollar Jr., Myron Wallace, Travis Odom, Marco, Austin and Landon Kouzoukas.
