Joey Lynn Johnson, 64, passed away on January 20, 2025 at his residence in McComb, MS.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Navilla Baptist Church from 9 AM until services at 10 AM; 3130 Old Hwy 24, McComb, MS.  Rev. Trent Bilbo will officiate.

Joey was born on March 11, 1960 in Baton Rouge, LA to the late Earl Johnson and Alice Lofton Johnson. He was of the Baptist faith. He was known as quite the jokester with a quick wit. He had a great love for music and played the fiddle. He loved his dachshunds. He was a loving father, grandfather, and brother. He will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother David Johnson; three nephews Judd, Jacob, and Jeremy Johnson.

He is survived by his daughter Alicia Dixon (West); his sister Bonnie Thompson (Kell); four grandchildren Kade, Kylie, West John, and Jax Dixon; along with other relatives and friends.
