John H. Roberts III, 58, of Thompson Community, Amite County, MS, left the arms of his beloved wife and entered the arms of Jesus on September 11, 2022, after a long and hard fought battle with cancer.

Visitation will be Tuesday September 13, 2022 from 11 AM until services at 1 PM at Hartman-Jones funeral home of McComb. Bro. Joe Dykes and Bro. David East will officiate and burial will be in Johnston Chapel U.M.C. Cemetery in Summit, MS.

He was born in Magnolia, MS on May 9, 1964 to his parents John H. Roberts II and Eileen East Roberts.

He worked in land surveying for twenty eight years. John was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was so honest, hard working, caring and giving. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his father John H. Roberts II, step-mother Janie Roberts, paternal grandparents Lloyd and Zelma Roberts, maternal grandparents Wesley and Grace Mary East.

He is survived by his loving wife of Thirty five very happy years Sandy Roberts, one brother Timothy Roberts (Mary), his mother Eileen Roberts, sisters in-law Barbara McGraw (Roger), Anita Allen (Bob), Brenda Jones (Don) and a host of nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends.

Pallbearers will be Bernie Bilbo, John Estess, Harold Williams, Pedro Summerall, Adam McMahon and Ryan McGraw.

Honorary pallbearers will be Noah McMahon "who was known as his daily inspiration" James Carruth, Bill LeMaire, Zack Summerall and Cass Butler.
