Johnny Morris, 73, of McComb, MS., passed away on August 4, 2023 at the McComb Nursing and Rehab Center in McComb.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 7, 2023 at Hartman-Jones Funeral Home in McComb from 5 PM until 8 PM. Visitation will resume Tuesday from 12 noon until services at 2 PM at the funeral home. Rev. Mike Morris and Dr. David Millican will officiate and a private burial will follow at Rushing cemetery  in Tylertown, MS.

Johnny was born on October 18, 1949, in Tylertown, MS to the late Alton and Kathleen Stinson Morris.

Johnny was a very simple man, but he was a very special man. Along with his wife Marcie of forty years, they brightened many people's life. A true believer in Jesus Christ, he was a bright and shining light.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Marcie Morris, two brothers Bill and Donald Ray, three sisters, Karen Kay, Sherry Kay, and Barbara Sue Morris.

He is survived by two sisters, Ballenda and Theresa and a host of nieces and nephews.

If all people were like Johnny Morris, our world would be so much better.
