Josephine Arnold, 84, of McComb, MS., passed away on February 22, 2022, at at her residence surrounded by her loved ones.

Visitation will be held from 12 to 2 PM on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at Hartman-Jones Funeral Home of McComb. Funeral services will begin at 2 PM with Rev. Brock Burch officiating and burial will be in New Zion Baptist Church cemetery.

Josephine was born in Amite County, MS on June 6, 1937, to the late Charlie F. and Mildred Hodges Etheridge.

Josephine retired after twenty five years from the Sunflower store and was of the baptist faith. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was an outdoors person who loved to garden especially working with her flowers. She enjoyed watching the birds and was a great southern cook. She loved her family dearly and will be sadly missed by those who loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Cecil Etheridge, Charles Etheridge and Clavis Etheridge and one sister Margaret Bass.

She is survived by her husband, of forty four happy years Homer H. Arnold, two daughters, Gail Markus and Mary Lou Dykes (Keith), four brothers Levon Etheridge, Charlie Wayne Etheridge, Bob Etheridge (Eva) and Robert Etheridge, one sister Dorothy Cain, a grandson Brian Dykes and his fiance' Tara Broom and her son Jax, a special cousin Jaunita Chisholm, numerous nieces and nephews and her fur baby Prissy

Pallbearers will be Fon Campbell, Tony Nunnery, Roger Sullivan, Dusty Sullivan, Derrick Sullivan, Seth Massey.

Honorary pallbearers will be Levon Etheridge and Robert Etheridge
